Data Driven Weather Forecasts
At Red Sky AI our goal is to reduce the loss of lives and livelihoods resulting from extreme weather events. We do this by generating bespoke, high-fidelity and high-resolution weather forecasts based on AI models that exploit data in novel ways. The deep-learning algorithms at the core of our models allow us to deliver more accurate forecasts at a fraction of the cost of traditional weather forecasting methods which use numerical weather prediction (NWP) models. Because we can produce forecasts at lower cost, we can generate large ensembles of simulations that better represent the probabilistic risk associated with extreme weather events. These methods allow us to provide high-quality, tailored weather forecasts that meet the unique needs of clients who are otherwise not well-served by traditional weather forecasting methods.
